East Grand Community Services

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Proverbs 22:6

East Grand Community Services is a separate not-for-profit organization that works hand-in-hand with East Grand to provide for the needs of our immediate community. EGCS focuses its efforts on the families in the Bingham and Alice Pittman elementary schools, but any family may receive services from EGCS. EGCS runs several programs to help the Bingham and Pittman families, with most of the focus on Bingham school. For more information, please visit their website here.
Back 2 School Bash
East Grand church teams with EGCS to provide free backpacks for hundreds of Bingham students every fall. We also provide a day of fun and food for the families as they come to get the backpacks.
After School Program – Bingham and Alice Pittman Elementary Schools
The School Program is a ministry under the umbrella of East Grand Community Services. The ministry began in 2000 as an outreach to the children and families who are served by the Bingham and Pittman Elementary Schools. The program is fully licensed by the state of Missouri and provides child care after school in a safe and nurturing environment. The ministry provides transportation from the schools, provides healthy snacks and rotates students through physical, educational and fun activities in our gym, classrooms and computer room. Tutoring services are also available.
